Lifetime Powertrain Warranty Every new, non-commercial Ford and qualifying used vehicle at Ford of Cookeville comes with a complimentary Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty. It covers your engine and transmission for as long as you own the vehicle, and covered repairs can be done at any ASE-certified repair facility in the U.S.
What's Covered?
What Vehicles Are Covered By Lifetime Warranty?
Every new, non-commercial Ford that is not registered to a business qualifies. Used domestic and Asian-brand vehicles also qualify if they are 10 model years old or newer and have under 100,000 miles. The warranty is included at no cost to you.

What Vehicle Components Are Covered By Lifetime Warranty?
Think of the Ford of Cookeville Lifetime Warranty as an extension of the original manufacturer’s powertrain warranty. Exact coverage depends on the make and model, but the components below are generally included. On hybrid vehicles, the mechanical powertrain components are covered. The hybrid battery and electrical components are not. Generally the below parts are typically always covered:
Engine
Includes cylinder block, head, internal parts, intake manifold, timing chain/belt, gaskets, flywheel, oil pump, valve covers, engine mounts, water pump, turbocharger, supercharger, engine control module, fuel pump, seals, and gaskets.

Transmission
Case and all internal parts, torque converter, clutch cover, transmission mounts, transfer case and all internal parts, engine control computer, seals and gaskets.

Front & Rear Wheel Drive
Limited lifetime warranty covers major and minor repairs to FWD and RWD systems, including drive shafts, internal parts, seals, bearings, and gaskets.
